Apparently artists are paranoid about sending work in to the open source community. I'll need to post the source before most people will consider sending their .3ds examples in. I originally posted requests in these forums, and have deleted those that I can.

Pivot diagnostics successful. Object hierarchy reengineered. Animation loader interprets several Dark Basic models (some animation artifacts still remain).

In an attempt to reengineer the logic of the 3ds hierachy, spheres were placed at all the vertex[0] points for each object that was linked (objects that had child objects or objects with parent objects).

Posted a thread on GameTutorials asking for 3ds models. Hopefully the flood will start soon.
